Name changes, revisions, and/or substitutions

Name revisions or substitutions are not permitted without the approval of Norwegian. All name revisions or substitutions are considered reservation cancellations and new booking, and regular cancellation fees apply. If Norwegian approves a name revision or substitution, such change will be subject to a cancellation fee in accordance with the Cancellation Policy set forth in Table C.

Cruise Boarding Documents

After completing the online check-in, the guest or travel partner can print an electronic boarding pass (edocs) to be presented at embarkation. Edocs contain a detailed voyage summary including the cruise ticket, itinerary, and luggage tag(s). When applicable, ‘edocs’ include air ticket, transfer voucher and/or hotel voucher. Note: It takes 24 – 48 hours after payment is applied for booking to be validated. Once it has been validated, an email notification is sent out. The tour operator account administrator can set ‘edocs’ preferences, electing to send notification to either to the guest’s email address or the travel partner’s email address.

Documents

Cruise guests are responsible for obtaining necessary travel documents. Guests of all nationalities should consult with a visa service agency or local embassy/consulate for specific entry requirements, including for passports, visas and other documentation, including vaccinations for infectious diseases, for the voyage. Flight Information

Under NCL’s Air Sea Program, NCL reserves the right to book and ticket airfare from an airport within an approximate 60-mile radius from the originally selected airport. The cost of such overnight arrangements (food, lodging, transfers and items of a personal nature) will be the passengers’ responsibility. Actual flight schedules, fare basis and applicable rules cannot be committed until airline tickets are issued. Airline tickets are issued on fares that are capacity controlled and highly restrictive. These airline tickets may not be reissued or exchanged for another carrier or routing. Airfares include all fees, surcharges, and government taxes. Under the Interactive Air Program, the selected guest flight itinerary will be booked immediately, but may not be ticketed until 30 days prior to sailing.

Online Check-in

Online Check-In Guests are requested to complete their Online Check-In form at www.ncl.com at least 21 days and up to 3 days prior to your vacation start date. Guests who have not completed their online Check-In forms at 3 days prior to their vacation start date are required to complete the Check-In process.

My NCL

Booked guests, 18 years of age or older, may register for an account on www.ncl.com to obtain important pre-cruise information, complete online check-in, print edocs, pre-book onboard activities, dining, entertainment or spa services (if applicable) or reserve shore excursions.

Service Charges

A service charge per person, per day can either be pre-paid with the reservation, or automatically charged to your shipboard account once onboard. There is no charge for children under the age of three. Staff members including complimentary restaurant staff, stateroom stewards and behind-the-scenes support staff are compensated by a combination of salary and incentive programs that your service charge supports. If you have received excellent service from any of our crew members and feel so inclined to recognize them further, it would be most appreciated by our hardworking crew. If you have any concerns about the service you receive during your cruise, please let our onboard Guest Services Desk staff know right away, so we can address any issues in a timely manner. In the unlikely event that we cannot resolve your issue, you can have the service charge adjusted or removed at your discretion. Norwegian Cruise Line reserves the right to modify the service charge costs at its discretion.

As visa and documentation requirements vary by country and are subject to change, all guests are urged to contact their travel professional, local immigration office, or the embassy or consulate for each country they will visit on their cruise to verify current entry requirements. It is the guest’s responsibility to obtain required visas and other documentation prior to sailing, including vaccinations for infectious diseases. TSA Requirements for Guests who are Flying

TSA requirements mandate that for all guests who have purchased air, Norwegian must applicable), Date of Birth and Gender. Without this information you can be denied boarding the aircraft.

Domestic Airline Travel ID Requirements for U.S. Citizens:

Beginning May 7, 2025, every air traveler 18 years of age and older will need a REAL ID-compliant driver’s license, state-issued enhanced driver’s license, or another acceptable form of ID to fly within the United States. REAL IDs are marked by a star on the top of the card. Between now and the effective date of the new regulations, we encourage all travelers to check their IDs and obtain a REAL ID if they don’t already have one. To obtain a REAL ID requires documentation beyond what is required for most standard drivers’ licenses. Prepare to collect and present several documents to DMV officials that prove residency and identification. Guests should take this into consideration when planning travels for their cruise.
