Ty Vaughn
Owner/Founder
Adventuress Ty was founded and inspired by Ty Vaughn who had the brilliant idea to share her love for adventure. The groups she attracted never considered the lifestyle of extreme adventures.
...It was rare an occasion for Ty to see people who looked like her enjoying nature and participating in outdoor adventure. This paved the way for a community to be established to share her passion with others for the outdoors.
Adventuress Ty roots have grown and now has three partners that all share the love and passion for adventure. We are black women on an adventure. We are paving the way for new adventurers to take risk and just go for it!
Ty, along with her 3 partners; Mikaela Davis, Jerusha Day and Ashley Hopson have seen Adventuress Ty Events grow to a community of 200+ people over the past 2 years. With events held monthly, the group enjoys meeting new people and helping them overcome their fears.

I have always been an adventurer at heart and willing to take risks. Life, a career,
...children and a family offered a different adventure but now I am able to circle back to what I truly love and that is exploring nature, meeting people and trying new adventures. I am an entrepreneur, a risk taker and prefer different days to the same days. I enjoy volunteering and pouring into people and different causes, it is gratifying and adds balance to my life. I’m very happy to be a part of the Adventurresty family.

Over the past 3 years I’ve met and witness people from all backgrounds conquer their fears and create lasting memories. Being able to capture these moments has brought my love of story telling and my love for people together in such a rewarding way. It’s been an honor to be apart of the growing Adventuress Ty family and l look forward to meeting more people and even more exciting adventures.

If you would have asked me 2 years ago if I wanted to zipline in the forest, jump off a cliff,
...or spend the night in a tree, I would have called you crazy. Look at me now, a main contributor to the Adventuress Ty pack. This journey has been eye opening to so many new experiences and emotions! I now have the courage to lead my own groups and cheer people on like everyone once did for me when I signed up for these events. I attend events when I have the available time and manage the social media accounts in the background. If you see me out on an adventure say hi and let’s take a picture to post later!!
